Best US Airlines 2024 tells Which airlines offer the greatest flights?  The airline industry faces a new environmental face after the world recovers from the pandemic situation.

This new environment revolves around the customer’s expectation of their preferred safety measures and bad economic situation. Customers choose the best flights according to these criteria that give them cheap flights and a comfortable journey. .

A famous personal finance website for airlines called WalletHub just revealed the list of best airlines on the basis of the above-mentioned preferences, such as safety, comfort, and overall service quality.

This study gives the customers the information of the nine largest national airlines and one major airline working in the US, so that they can make their decisions about choosing flights.

WalletHub revealed that the price of airlines is going to increase once again after dropping in 2023, but price cannot tell you the whole story. WalletHub analyst Cassandra Happe told me in an interview that “WalletHub’s airline report is unique because it evaluates airlines beyond just ticket prices.”

“WalletHub considers a wider range of factors that are important to travelers, such as comfort, safety, and overall service quality, while many reports prioritize affordability.” Let’s compare the ranking of best airlines of 2023 with one from this year.

In order to determine the best US airlines 2024, WalletHub examined flight data from the United States Department of Transportation for the year 2023.

The approach included a strategic comparison of important variables, such as cancelation, delays, luggage disasters, and in-flight comfort.

According to the recent report by WalletHub, Delta Air Lines, which is on the top in the year 2023 in the US, dropped from the top position and the first position was taken by Alaska Airlines.

Alaska Airlines also beat some other airlines and ranked as #1. Their unstoppable performance and strong dedication to their work and making their customers satisfied make Alaska Airlines back in top position.

In addition, Alaska was a leader in customer inventions and technological advancements that simplified travel. According to reports, Alaska Airlines was the first to let their passengers check in and print board cards online and also the first airline in North America to do so.

Alaska Airlines SkyWest Airlines comes in second, closely followed by Spirit Airlines in third place. Spirit Airlines’ high rating on the list is somewhat unexpected, according to Happe.

This is noteworthy because Spirit is typically thought of as low-cost travel and might not be seen as a competitor when it comes to overall service quality.

But it appears that Spirit has advanced significantly in areas like safety that go beyond affordability. Travelers are beginning to value the airline more and more, as seen by its ranking as the safest airline.

Southwest Airlines has finished worst on the list for the past three years. “The airline performs satisfactorily in terms of delayed and canceled flights, but it is not up to pace when it comes to denied boarding’s and mishandled baggage reports,” claims Happe.

“The airline has a low pricing affordability rating when it comes to in-flight comfort and cost, which is an important consideration for many travelers. In addition, Southwest’s safety ratings are noticeably lower than those of its rivals.

All things considered, it seems that Southwest needs to address its problems with mishandled luggage and denied boarding in addition to working on enhancing its safety protocols and cost.

WalletHub not only ranks the finest airlines but also identifies the safest, most economical, most comfortable, and most dependable airlines.

Delta Air Lines is seen as the most dependable airline as it has the lowest rate of flight cancellations, delays and mishandled luggage and rejected broadlines.

while on the other hand, Frontier has been the least dependable airline for continuous two years because of canceled boarding’s and late flights.

“Delta Airlines is generally considered to be the most reliable airline for travel. This is mostly due to their outstanding history of reducing delays, cancellations, rejected boarding’s, and improperly handled luggage, according to Happe.

“Frontier Airlines, however, fares worse than Delta in most reliability metrics, though it does rank second overall for mishandled baggage.”

According to WalletHub’s rankings, Delta Air Lines and JetBlue were tied for the most comfortable airlines. WalletHub claims that their success stems from providing complimentary benefits.

Frontier is the least comfortable airline. “Complimentary snacks and beverages, Wi-Fi, and extra legroom are just a few of the amenities that Delta Airlines and JetBlue Airways offer for a comfortable flying experience,” claims Happe.

However, because they do not give as many of the freebies as their rivals, Frontier Airlines does not provide the same degree of luxury during the journey.
